YubiKey is a physical security key used for logging in. This time, through a purchase offer provided by OpenAI and Yubico, I bought two, a C Nano and a C NFC, for around 100,000 KRW and have received the products.
I learned about this offer after my Daybreak Blue approval. While looking into related information after approval, I found out about the security key bundle, which led to an actual purchase. Here, I will focus on the received configuration and pricing. The registration process and user experience will be covered separately after further review.

The received C Nano and C NFC bundle.
Received Configuration: One C Nano and One C NFC
The received packaging shows markings: OpenAI | yubico, C Nano, and C NFC. This configuration provides two items as a bundle.
Yubico introduces this configuration as a Duo Pack for OpenAI. It bundles one C Nano, designed to be plugged into a laptop, and one C NFC, for use with mobile and desktop devices. The description states that this bundle is centered around FIDO2/WebAuthn, an authentication standard used for web logins. This is the manufacturer’s product description, not the result of my direct testing on each device. Yubico’s OpenAI Bundle Guide

Total Order Amount: $78, How Does It Compare to Domestic Listed Prices?
The order screen for the bundle placed on October 13, 2026, shows a total of USD $78. The order quantity is one bundle, containing two security keys. I purchased it for around 100,000 KRW. However, individual details for product price, shipping, and taxes are not available, so I will not state the itemized amounts or the exact KRW charged.
I also compared it with the listed prices of domestically sold general models. As of October 16, 2026, the confirmed prices were YubiKey 5C NFC 99,000 KRW and YubiKey 5C Nano 119,000 KRW, totaling 218,000 KRW. For the NFC product, I confirmed AirCube sales and free shipping, but for the Nano product, I only confirmed the model name and listed price in the recommended products section and did not verify detailed shipping or sales conditions. 5C NFC Sales Page, 5C Nano Product Link
Assuming 1 USD = 1,333.40 KRW for comparison, $78 is approximately 104,005 KRW. In this calculation, it is about 113,995 KRW, or approximately 52.3% lower than the total domestic listed price. Therefore, compared to the domestic general sales models’ listed prices, it can be considered roughly half price. However, this exchange rate is a hypothetical calculation rate, not the actual card billing rate or real-time rate.
My purchase purpose was to acquire security keys for FIDO/Passkey login. I effectively purchased two keys with the necessary functions for that purpose, at roughly half the price compared to the listed prices of two domestic general sales models. The figures above are reference comparisons calculated with a hypothetical exchange rate, so they may vary depending on the actual KRW charged and sales conditions, and do not imply an official 50% discount rate.
Yubico’s public announcement describes it as a limited-time preferential price. This page does not present a fixed price or discount rate applicable to all buyers. It is more accurate to judge the price based on the payment conditions displayed to you. Yubico’s Preferential Price Guide
Learned After Daybreak Blue Approval, But Purchase Eligibility Must Be Checked Separately
It is necessary to distinguish between how I learned about this bundle and the official purchase eligibility. Learning about it after Daybreak Blue approval is my experience. This alone does not mean it is a Blue-exclusive benefit, or that security keys are provided simultaneously with approval. I purchased it myself this time too.
According to the official guide, the target audience is eligible OpenAI users. After logging in, users check their eligibility and pay at Yubico. Even if you are not enrolled in Advanced Account Security, you can purchase if you are eligible. Price, taxes, and shipping conditions are confirmed on the payment screen. OpenAI Purchase Guide
Regarding availability in Korea, it is necessary to also look at subsequent announcements. Yubico announced on September 1, 2026, that it expanded bundle provision to 10 countries, including Korea. The region list in OpenAI’s help documentation does not reflect this expansion, so there is a discrepancy between the two documents. However, the announcement that Korea is included in the providing countries and the purchase availability for individual accounts are separate matters, so current eligibility and shipping conditions must be confirmed on the purchase screen. My Use Case: FIDO/Passkey Security Key
What I needed was a FIDO/Passkey security key for login. This bundle supports that authentication, and it is officially stated that it can be used with other FIDO-compatible services besides OpenAI. I compared prices based on the fact that this configuration has the features suitable for my purchase purpose. This article is a review covering the purchase, receipt, and confirmation of official specifications. OpenAI Compatibility Guide
Configuration Note: This bundle does not support OTP (One-Time Password). This is separate from the FIDO/Passkey authentication function I intended to purchase, and it does not mean that it has all the same additional features as the general sales 5C series. Official Configuration Guide
From my purchase perspective, needing two FIDO/Passkey security keys, this $78 bundle offered a price advantage compared to the listed prices of domestic general models.
